A positively wild™ way to encourage kids to participate in your summer reading program. Our programs spark children's interest and inspire them to read and learn more about animals they've just seen, the regions the animals are native to, and even about the people who live in those regions. Our programs are presented by experienced professionals! Check out our other Safari Guides programs.

"Dear Mr. Kleven (aka Critterman):

Thank you so much for coming to perform at Haggard Library on the 12th! As one of the staff here at Haggard I was fortunate enough to be able to sit in on your program.  Everyone Ive talked to about it absolutely loved the show and came away excited about the work youre doing and about the animals you introduced them to. One of our young patrons came up to me the week after your program and told me that he wants to do what you do one day. I can't imagine that it can get more satisfying than that.

Thanks for giving your audience a chance to see and touch and learn about the various creatures you were able to bring with you.  You and your program were really an inspiration to kids and parents alike.  Best of all, I think they all came away with a greater appreciation for the importance of understanding and protecting all kinds of life.

Once again, thank you, and hopefully your path and that of the Plano Public Library System will cross again."

"Dear Amazing Critterman!
I wanted to let you know how much everyone enjoyed your performance Saturday. The animals were a big hit as well. This type of show is such a refreshing change from our standard guests that I think the kids appreciate it even more.

Of course, comments from parents and children attending have been quite positive.  Our count showed there was around 110 kids and 56 adults attending, making your program one of our tops in attendance.  If anything comes out in the McKinney Courier Gazette, I will be sure to send you a copy.

Thank you again for sharing your dynamic personality and wonderful animals with our library patrons and for adding so much to this year's Summer Reading Program.  I look forward to having you as a guest in the future."

Gayle A. Travis / Youth Services Librarian, McKinney

I would like to thank you for such a great show.  My children and I have seen you twice at the Wylie library and really enjoyed it.  It is hard to entertain toddlers but you really have a knack.  You held the attention of my three and a half and one and a half kids for the entire show. Thanks again for your creative way of teaching children (and adults) about animals.

It is my firm belief that nothing inspires learning better than real experience -what you and Animal Edutainment provide libraries like ours only strengthens our mission to create a world of discovery and learning for all people. Once more, my thanks and my sincerest wishes for the coming year.
